This is not fake. Whatever troll may have PRETENDED to make it up... the magazine article is real. Expect Killzone 2 to OWN E3.

Ok then this doesn't make any sense. Guerilla said there would be an beta doesn't seem like they will have enough time to release a beta and fix the bugs before release. I guess we will have to wait until E3 to know for sure.

I did not see any "confession" in that gamespot article. But pointless speculation, lets just wait and see.

Blow every shooter away my ass! Wasn't the first one suppose to be and dubbed "The Halo Killer?" We all know how that went. Halo 3 will still destroy Frillzone 2, and that's a fact.

It's not a fact b/c neither game is out yet. Halo 3 is not as impressive as I expected so far... and IF Killzone lives up to the hype this time, it won't be hard for it crush Halo 3 as a better shooter. (It seems as if it will already easily crush Halo 3 in graphics). But it is destined to come in 2nd w/ sales... but that only means there could be millions of xbots missing out on a better shooter. As a gamer, I just care about getting the better game.

i don't know what the hype is all about. killzone for the ps2 was not even a killer app and failed to meet expectations of being the halo killer it was meant to be. it received average reviews from gaming sites which is dissappointing given the fact that this game received tremendous hype before it was even released.

To anyone who say that Halo 3 is dissapointing, is only judging the game from the beta perspective, which doesn't mean nothing at this point until they show the final game running at E3 in a few more weeks. Bear in mind, though, that no has seen the single player side of the game up to this point, not even a single screen shot has been leaked on the web of any sort. And trust me, this is where the game is truly going to shine. There is a reason why no one has seen this side of Halo 3 as of yet. And come E3, it will be all game over yet again for Sony and Killzone 2.

No, Killzone on the PS2 was not a killer app. But it was still a good game with a pretty awesome design & game concept... unfortunately it wasn't well polished & it came out on an underpowered system. We won't know how well polished KZ2 is until it comes out... but we can be certain with the budget for this game that it is being given PLENTY of attention this time around. The same media outlets that reviewed the first game are the same ones hyping the 2nd one... It's not just ps3ers that are expecting it to be gaming greatness.

Maybe you've never beta tested anything before... the game only undergoes fine tuning during the period b/w beta and going gold. So there won't many significant changes from what we've already seen... just more of it. And if Halo 2 is any indication, I'm expecting the multiplayer of Halo 3 to be the higlight of the game, not the single player. As it is, I'm looking forward to Haze more than KZ2 & Halo 3 right now anyway. I'm more hyped for KZ2 than Halo 3... but that's mostly b/c I'm anxious to ACTUALLY see it. That and Halo 3 just seems like a next gen Halo 2... not a bad thing, just not what I was expecting. I thought they'd push some limits. But if the hype train is true... KZ2 will be the game doing that.
